Abstract

A pre-positioning structure for an injection mold comprises a base plate, a movable plate and a counting gear. The base plate has a guiding groove and two slide sensors. The guiding groove guides at least one zipper tape to pass through the base plate. The slide sensors are located at either side of the movable plate, and each of which is used to detect if a slide of the zipper tape approaches a predetermined position located at either side of the movable plate. Then, the slide sensors actuate the movable plate to upwardly/downwardly pivot with respect to the base plate so that the slide of the zipper tape can smoothly pass through the movable plate. The movable plate has a tooth sensor for detecting if a blank edge of the zipper tape approaches a predetermined position of the base plate. Then, the tooth sensor actuates the counting gear to count the number of the zipper teeth of the zipper tape for deciding the zipper tape stop at a predetermined position in relation to the injection mold so that the injection mold can precisely form a plurality of accessory members on the zipper tape.
