Abstract
An edge folding device for the packer, which comprises a pair of side plates, which separately faces the opening side, on the surface of the opening side of the 3-D container wrapped into tubular by the wrapping plate and a lateral bending guide, which can move toward or away the two side plates; through the exertion of force between the lateral bending guide and the side plate, the edge folding device folds the two side plates toward inside and sequentially bends the remaining lower sheet and upper sheet of the packer along the opening side of the container; the edge folding device is characterized in that the central position of the lateral bending guide is supported to be able to rotate toward the bending direction of the side plate, the rotation center is installed outside of the opening side of the container so as to enable the lateral bending guide moving toward the opening side of the container while the side plate is at the folding state; in the mean time, the lateral bending guide forms an exertion part facing the side of the wrapping sealing of the container while at a departing state from the container and forms a folding part facing the side plate at the state of leaving the container on the other end of the lateral bending guide.
