Description

System and method for connecting a concentrate container with a blood processing device without leakage

The present invention relates to a system and method for connecting a concentrate container with a blood processing device and/or a fluid dosing unit. Other aspects of the invention relate to containers and fluid dosing units/blood processing devices, preferably dialysis machines for renal replacement therapy, which are configured for use in the method according to the invention.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a container that includes a connecting portion that allows the container to be connected to a fluid dosing unit of a blood treatment device in a simple, efficient and hygienic manner. According to the present invention, the fluid dosing unit includes a valve that fluidly closes the fluid dosing unit when no container is connected to the fluid dosing unit and opens the fluid dosing unit when the container is connected to the fluid dosing unit.

For chronic blood treatment, especially for chronic dialysis, nowadays dialysis solutions based almost entirely on bicarbonate are used. During treatment, acidic and alkaline concentrates (preferably powder concentrates) are diluted by the blood treatment device itself/in the treatment process. Produced online. Therefore, it is common practice to produce alkaline concentrates on-line during the treatment, that is, to continuously produce liquid alkaline concentrates by diluting the dry concentrate/powder concentrate with water during the treatment.

For this purpose, the dry powder concentrate is generally provided in a container fluidly coupled to the blood treatment device, so that water can be dispensed into the container by the blood treatment device to dissolve the dry concentrate. At the same time, the alkaline liquid concentrate/bicarbonate solution produced in this way is discharged from the concentrate container by the blood processing device. Such a conventional concentrate container is known from, for example, EP1344550.

In the conventional blood treatment apparatuses known from the prior art, the concentrate container cannot be connected to the hydraulic system/fluidics system of the blood treatment apparatus during the sterilization/washing of the blood treatment apparatus.

For this reason, medical personnel must connect the concentrate container to the blood treatment device after disinfecting/rinsing the blood treatment device and before preparing/starting the extracorporeal circuit of the blood treatment device for treatment.

In order to connect the concentrate container to the blood processing device after disinfecting/rinsing the blood processing device and before preparing/starting the extracorporeal circuit of the blood processing device for processing, a certain amount of force is required to connect the container to the blood processing device.

In order to make the blood processing device and the concentrate container as easy to use as possible, the blood processing machine and the corresponding concentrate container are conventionally configured so that the connecting element of the container is inserted into the connecting element of the machine with a downward movement. Making gravity help move the connecting element of the container into/above the connecting element of the machine.

However, this configuration has the following disadvantages: after the treatment has ended and the concentrate container is removed from the blood processing device, the opening of the connecting element of the container is opened in the downstream direction (so that it can be connected to the connecting element of the blood processing device). When moving downward, by moving the connecting element of the container from above to couple with the corresponding connecting element of the blood treatment device), the liquid concentrate can drip from the connecting element of the container.

In addition, in the blood processing device according to the prior art, the liquid concentrate can overflow, leak or drip from the discharge line of the blood processing device, which is configured to automatically self-discharge after separating the container from the blood processing device. The container discharges the concentrate. Since liquid concentrates contain solutes, crystallization can appear as an additional disadvantage of these spills, which are usually unsanitary.

This liquid concentrate can then be collected in the connecting element of the blood treatment device, causing unintended crystallization and thus may block the connecting element of the blood treatment device.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a container and/or a system comprising a container and a fluid dosing system/blood treatment device, which avoids such unintended overflow/drip of liquid concentrate during the removal of the container from the blood treatment device, And thus improve hygiene.

This goal is solved by the present invention. The present invention uses a container to collect any drips from the connecting element of the blood treatment device and/or prevents such drips/overflow/leakage in the first place. For this purpose, the opening element of the container according to the present invention is preferably opened in an upward direction, so that the connecting element of the blood treatment device can be moved downwards and inserted into the opening element of the container from above, or the container can be moved in an upward motion, so that The connecting element of the blood treatment device can be inserted into the opening element of the container.

In addition, according to the present invention, a valve is provided at the fluid dosing unit/blood treatment device, and the valve fluidly closes the fluid dosing unit/blood treatment device when no container is connected to the fluid dosing unit/blood treatment device, so that when there is no container No liquid drips from the fluid dosing unit/blood processing device.

Another advantage of the present invention is that the container can be attached to the blood treatment device at any point in time, so that the blood treatment device is correctly assembled for subsequent connection to the container when needed.

In addition, the present invention provides a container that is easier and cheaper to manufacture when fluid flows from the blood treatment device to the container along the connecting element in the form of a linear channel. In other words, compared with the prior art, the structure of the connection part of the container can be simplified, in which the fact that the connection part is usually connected to the blood treatment device via downward movement dictates the design that the opening is opened at the lower surface of the connection part. Therefore, according to the prior art, the fluid flow through the connecting part of the container is not absolutely linear/unidirectional, but the fluid is divided in multiple directions that require more complex designs and more materials.

In addition, the structure of the container according to the present invention and especially the structure of its connecting part allows the filter to be more easily installed in the fluid inlet and/or outlet openings of the container.

The flat (top) end surface of the main body of the container protrudes to the end surface of the connecting portion facing the main body of the container.

Preferably, the container has two connecting elements, each serving as an inlet and an outlet and each protruding in a straight line from the flat (top) end surface of the container facing away from the body of the container through the connecting part of the container to the body of the connecting part facing the container The end surface.

In the outlet and/or inlet, the fluid permeable substance may be configured to open the valve in the corresponding connecting element of the fluid dosing unit (for example, the fluid dosing unit of a blood treatment device) when the container is connected to the fluid dosing unit.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the container includes two attachment elements, each of which is formed as a hook configured to hook over a corresponding attachment element present on the blood treatment device, the corresponding attachment The connecting element is preferably formed as a stud, which preferably includes a circumferential groove for receiving the hook of the container, thereby reversibly attaching the container to the blood treatment device.

According to an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the container includes two attachment elements, each formed as a hollow cylinder, the hollow cylinders are configured to receive corresponding attachment elements present on the blood treatment device, the corresponding attachment The element is formed as a post to be inserted into the vacuum cylinder of the container, thereby reversibly attaching the container to the blood treatment device.

In order to ensure the storage stability of the concentrate contained in the container, at least the connecting element is advantageously sealed by a lid, preferably in the form of a flexible film, which is removably attached to the main body of the container. /The end surface of the container facing away from the main body of the container.

For example, the lid may be glued or welded to the end surface of the container opposite to the main body of the container. The main body of the blood processing device includes a top surface, a bottom surface and four side surfaces.

Depending on the user's perspective, the side surface of the blood processing device may also be called the front surface.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, at least one attachment element of the blood treatment device has the form of a pin or post protruding outward from the side surface of the main body, and the at least one connection element has a shape substantially parallel to the main body. The form of the outflow port protruding in the direction of the side surface.

It has proven advantageous for the blood treatment device to further comprise a movable and/or electric guiding element, wherein a cavity is preferably formed and at least one attachment element is mounted to the movable and preferably electric guiding element. In a preferred embodiment, at least one connecting element of the blood processing device can move in a downward direction toward the bottom surface of the main body of the blood processing device. Additionally or alternatively, at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device can move in an upward direction toward the top surface of the main body of the blood treatment device.

For example, the at least one connecting element of the blood processing device may first move upwards to allow the container attached to the attachment element to move to the at least one connecting element of the blood processing device and the at least one connecting element of the container by the guide element. In the aligned position in the vertical direction.

Subsequently, the at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device can be moved downwards toward the guide element to fluidly couple the container and the blood treatment device, for example, by inserting at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device into the at least one connecting element of the container catch.

At a later stage, for example, after the concentrated liquid contained in the container is used up, the at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device can be retracted upward again to withdraw the at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device from the at least one connecting element of the container, thereby The container and the blood treatment device are fluidly separated/decoupled from each other.

The blood treatment device preferably further includes a protruding portion present on the side surface of the main body. The guiding element is preferably movable relative to the protruding part in a drawer manner. In other words, the guiding element can be slidably moved relative to the protruding part in a direction substantially perpendicular to the side surface of the blood treatment device, that is, in a horizontal direction.

Preferably, at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device is mounted to the protruding part and is movable in a direction substantially parallel to the side surface of the blood treatment device to protrude outward from the protruding part (preferably in the vertical direction toward the blood treatment The bottom surface of the device protrudes downwards). More preferably, the at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device can be retracted/moved into the protruding portion in a vertical direction substantially parallel to the side surface of the blood treatment device.

The movement of the guiding element and/or at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device can be performed automatically or non-automatically, motorized and/or manually.

According to a preferred aspect of the present invention, the blood treatment device includes two attachment elements, each formed as a pin/post, preferably including a circumference for receiving the corresponding attachment element of the container preferably formed as a hook Groove, thereby reversibly attaching the container to the blood treatment device. The hook can be inserted into the circumferential groove to prevent slippage.

To ensure that the container is correctly installed to the blood treatment device in only one possible installation position, the blood treatment device preferably includes two attachment elements that are formed in different sizes and/or geometric configurations to allow The container is attached to the blood treatment device only in one defined installation position.

Alternatively or in addition, the blood treatment device may include two connection elements formed in different sizes and/or geometric configurations to allow the container to be fluidly coupled to the blood treatment device in only one defined installation position .

In order to prevent unintended dripping of fluid/liquid from at least one connecting element/multiple connecting elements of the blood treatment device, the connecting element can be equipped with a valve that closes the connecting element and connects the container without the container connected to the connecting element. Turn on the connecting element while fluidly coupling the connecting element with the container.

In a specific example of the present invention, the connecting element is a fluid line of a fluid dosing unit (preferably a fluid dosing unit of a blood treatment device), such as a supply line or a suction line. Preferably, the connecting element is the extraction pipeline of the fluid dosing unit.

Throughout this application, reference is made to a blood treatment device comprising a fluid dosing unit that can be connected to a container containing a dry concentrate to dispense fluid into the container and draw fluid from the container. However, the present invention is not limited to the blood treatment device, but can be applied to any fluid dosing unit.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the fluid dosing unit includes a valve in the connecting element/fluid line (preferably in the extraction line), wherein the valve includes a valve body that can be closed in the axial direction Move between the position (the valve body is in contact with the seat) and the open position (the valve body is removed from the seat). In this open position, fluid can flow into the container from the connecting element/fluid line via the valve. The valve is biased to the closed position by means of a spring, for example.

Preferably, the valve is opened by means of a fluid-permeable agent arranged in a connecting element of the container, wherein the connecting element serves as an inlet or an outlet for the fluid to enter or leave the container. It has proven beneficial to provide a fluid permeable substance in the outlet of the container, because this fluid path contains the concentrate (rather than the water dispensed into the container via the inlet), and the fluid path is connected to the concentrate from the fluid dosing unit. / Crystallization occurs in the case of dripping of fluid lines. Especially when the fluid line is an extraction line through which a liquid concentrate (such as a bicarbonate solution) flows, the crystallization problem caused by overflow occurs.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a system comprising at least one container according to the invention and at least one blood treatment device according to the invention.

Preferably, the container is reversibly attached to the blood treatment device by means of at least one attachment element present on the container interacting with at least one attachment element present on the blood treatment device.

Additionally or alternatively, at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device is fluidly coupled to at least one connecting element of the container.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a method for connecting a concentrate container (preferably the container according to the invention) to a blood treatment device (preferably the blood treatment device according to the invention), which comprises the following steps : Reversibly attaching the container to the blood treatment device by means of at least one attachment element present on the container and at least one attachment element present on the blood treatment device; Move the container toward the main body of the blood treatment device in a horizontal direction/substantially perpendicular to the protruding direction of the side surface of the main body of the blood treatment device; Move the container and/or at least one connecting element of the blood processing device in the vertical direction/substantially parallel to the direction protruding from the side surface of the blood processing body, thereby inserting the at least one connecting element of the blood processing device into at least one of the containers The connecting element is used to fluidly couple the container to the blood treatment device.

In order to prevent the uncontrolled dripping of liquid from at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device and cause contamination and/or crystals to form on the components of the blood treatment device, the method may include another step in which the container is used to capture the blood source Any droplets or spills from at least one connecting element of the device.

Such additional steps can be, for example: Move the container and/or the at least one connecting element of the blood processing device in the vertical direction/substantially parallel to the protruding direction of the side surface of the blood processing body, thereby removing the at least one connection inserted into the container from the at least one connecting element of the container At least one connecting element of the blood treatment device of the element and thereby fluidly decouple the container from the blood treatment device; and The movement of the container is suspended in a position where at least one connecting element of the container and at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device are at least partially aligned in the vertical direction/substantially parallel to the protruding direction of the side surface of the blood treatment body to Any liquid that drips from the at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device is received by the at least one connecting element of the container.

In other words, after the container is separated from the blood processing device, the container is not removed immediately, but is temporarily left directly under the connecting element (for example, the outflow port) of the blood processing device to capture any liquid dripping downward from the connecting element. drop.

Furthermore, the method may comprise a rinsing step in which the blood treatment device is rinsed before connecting the container to the blood treatment device or after separating the container from the blood treatment device.

In this specific example, the blood treatment device preferably includes a movable and/or motorized guide element, which includes at least one attachment element of the blood treatment device and further includes at least one connection element configured to receive the blood treatment device Cavity. The method further includes the following steps: The guiding element is moved to the flushing position, where at least one connecting element of the blood treatment device is received in the cavity, thereby fluidly sealing the blood treatment device to isolate it from the outside and allowing the blood treatment device to be flushed.

In other words, insert the connecting element of the blood treatment device into the cavity of the guide element at the flushing position, instead of distributing water into the container to dissolve the concentrate powder to form a liquid concentrate. The connecting element is inserted into the connecting element of the container.

Therefore, the internal fluid circuit of the blood treatment device is closed and the flushing fluid can circulate in the blood treatment device.

Preferably, all method steps except for the step of reversibly attaching the container to the blood treatment device by means of at least one attachment element present on the container and at least one attachment element present on the blood treatment device The blood processing device executes.

This has the advantage that personnel do not need to be present to manually connect the container to the blood processing device. In fact, the container can be attached to the blood processing device at any and appropriate time (for example, during regular working hours), and the blood processing device is as needed (according to Demand) Establish a fluid connection between the container and the blood processing device.

In this specific example, the flexible film seals the connecting element 5 but does not completely cover the central opening 8. Furthermore, in this specific example, the attachment element 3 is in the form of hollow cylinders that are configured to receive the corresponding posts/pins of the blood treatment device.

FIG. 3 shows that the user peels off the flexible film 7 from the top surface 6 of the container 1. As in all the drawings, the components denoted by the same reference numerals are the same or similar components.

7。In the state shown in FIG. 4, the user has almost completely removed the flexible film 7 from the top surface 6 of the container 1.

Figure 5 shows the connection part 4 of the concentrate container known from the prior art. Such conventional connection parts of containers known from the prior art generally include connection elements 5 that are open downward so that liquid can drip from these connection parts into the connection elements present on the blood treatment device, The connection elements are configured to be inserted into the connection element 5. The connecting part further includes a handle 22 which allows the user to hold the connecting part.

Figure 6 shows the connection part 4 of the container according to the present invention. This connection part includes attachment elements 3 which are formed as hollow cylinders and are configured to receive corresponding connection elements present on the blood treatment device, especially in the form of posts, pins or cylinders.

5。The connecting portion 4 further includes a connecting element 5 that is open upwardly toward the top surface 6 of the connecting portion.

22。According to this specific example, the connecting portion 4 additionally includes gripping portions 8 at the opposite side of the connecting portion 4, and these gripping portions 8 replace the handle 22 existing in the conventional connecting portion shown in FIG. 5.

FIG. 7 shows the connecting part 4 according to the prior art in a side view, thereby showing the connecting element 5 and the handle 22. In contrast, the connecting portion 4 of the container according to the present invention shown in FIG. 8 includes an attachment element 3 arranged at the opposite side of the connecting portion 4 and formed as a hollow cylinder. The opening of the connecting part cannot be seen in this view.

Fig. 9 shows a cross-sectional view of the connecting part 4 of Fig. 7 in which the handle 22 is clearly visible. In the cross-sectional view of the connecting part 4 according to the present invention in FIG. 10, the gripping part 9 and the attachment element 3 and the connecting element 5 open toward the top surface 6 of the connecting part 4 are clearly visible.

As can be seen from FIG. 11, the connecting element 5 of the connecting portion 4 according to the prior art also serves as an attachment element, because the connecting element 5 in the form of a hollow cylinder is arranged above the corresponding outflow port of the blood treatment device.

It is further illustrated in the view of Fig. 12, from which it can be seen that the attachment element of the blood treatment device (ie the connection element of the blood treatment device according to the prior art) is inserted in the substantially vertical position/direction in Fig. 12 Into the connecting element 5 of the connecting part 4, thereby allowing the liquid from the connecting element 5 to drip from the connecting element 5 of the connecting part 4 of the container 1.

As shown in FIG. 13, according to the present invention, the attachment element 3 and the connection element 5 are separated from each other. It can also be easily seen from FIG. 13 that the attachment element 3 and the connection element 5 are arranged relative to each other, wherein they protrude along the direction in which they are arranged substantially perpendicular to each other, preferably protruding horizontally and vertically, respectively.

In the example of FIG. 13, the attachment element protrudes in the direction from the top of FIG. 13 to the bottom of FIG. 13, and the connecting element 5 is an opening that protrudes or extends in the direction in and out of the paper.

22。Figure 14 provides another clear view of the gripping portion 9 which can replace the handle 22 present in the connecting portion 4 known from the prior art.

FIG. 15 further illustrates how to configure the extension direction of the attachment element 3 to be substantially perpendicular to the extension direction of the connection element/opening 5.

5。As can be seen in FIG. 16, the connecting element 5 is preferentially sealed by a flexible strip 7 which is preferentially welded to the top surface 6 of the connecting portion 4 to close the connecting element 5.

7。Preferably, the flexible film 7 includes a gripping section 10 that allows a user to hold the flexible film 7 to remove the flexible film 7 from the top surface 6 of the connecting portion 4 of the container 1.

14。As can be seen in FIG. 17, the blood treatment device 11 according to the present invention includes a main body 12 having a bottom surface 13 and an attachment assembly 14 configured to be attached to and connected to the container 1.

The attachment assembly 14 includes a guide element 15 in which two attachment elements 16 are installed. In this specific example, the two attachment elements 16 have the form of a raised cylinder/pillar/pin, each having The hook of the container 1 or the circumferential groove of the hook-shaped attachment element 3 can be inserted.

The attachment assembly 14 additionally includes a protruding portion 17. In the configuration shown in FIG. 17, the front surface 18 of the protruding portion 17 and the front surface 19 of the guide element 15 are aligned with each other to form a continuous front surface of the attachment assembly 14. This corresponds to the flushing position.

As can be seen in FIG. 18, the bag 1 can be attached to the post-shaped attachment element 16 mounted to the guide element 15 by means of the hook-shaped attachment element 3.

FIG. 19 shows the blood treatment device 11 in which the container 1 is attached to the attachment element 16 of the guide element 15. The container 1 is in a position where it is fluidly coupled to the blood treatment device.

Fig. 20 shows the attachment assembly 14 of the blood treatment device 11, in which the guide element 15 is arranged in the closed position for flushing the blood treatment device with respect to the protruding portion 17.

In this position, the front surface 18 of the protrusion 17 and the front surface 19 of the guide element 15 form a continuous front surface. In the side view of the blood treatment device 11 shown in FIG. 21, the flushing position of the guiding element 15 relative to the protruding portion 17 is further explained. It can be particularly clearly seen from this figure that in the closed position/flushing position of the guiding element relative to the protruding portion 17, the front end surface 18 of the protruding portion 17 and the front end surface 19 of the guiding element 19 form a continuous front end surface.

11。Fig. 22 shows the blood treatment device of Fig. 21 in which the container 1 is attached to the attachment element 16 of the blood treatment device via its attachment element 3. This position is used when the blood treatment device is flushed/sterilized by the internal circulation but is ready for the next blood treatment by providing the container 1. Before starting the next blood treatment, the container 1 is fluidly connected to the blood treatment device 11.

FIG. 23 illustrates the structural configuration of the attachment assembly 14 of the blood treatment device in more detail by providing a cross-sectional view of the attachment assembly 14 in the closed/flushing position illustrated in FIGS. 21 and 22. As can be seen in Fig. 23, the front end surfaces 18 and 19 of the protruding portion 17 and the guide element 15 provide a continuous front surface.

In this relative positioning, the connecting element 20 in the form of an outflow port for distributing water into the container 1 in the specific example of FIG. 23 of the blood treatment device is inserted into the cavity 18 existing in the guiding element 15. Therefore, the internal fluid system of the blood treatment device is closed from the outside, and the flushing fluid can circulate in the blood treatment device without any fluid leaking from the outflow port 17 to the outside of the blood treatment device 11.

FIG. 24 shows a close-up view of the connection assembly 14 in the blood treatment device 11 that has been attached to the container 1 by the attachment elements 3 and 16. The connection assembly 14 is in the closed position/flushing position.

In order to fluidly couple the container 1 to the connection assembly 14 and therefore to the blood treatment device 11, the guide element 15 is then moved inwardly toward the side surface of the blood treatment device 11, as shown in FIG. 25. The container 1 attached to the attachment element 16 of the blood treatment device 11 therefore moves toward the side surface of the blood treatment device 11 until it is arranged under the protrusion 17 and the connection element 5 of the bag 1 and the connection element 20 of the blood treatment device are level So far.

11。As illustrated in FIG. 26, the guide element 15 and therefore the container 1 attached to the attachment element 16 mounted on the guide element 15 moves upward to connect the connecting element 5 of the container 1 and the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device . Alternatively, the container 1 can be kept stationary by the guiding element 15, and the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device moves downward to be inserted into the connecting element 5 of the container 1, thereby fluidly coupling the container 1 to the blood treatment device 11.

11。FIG. 27 shows a side view of the blood treatment device, in which the container 1 is fluidly coupled to the blood treatment device 11 in the position/relative positioning shown in FIG. 26.

FIG. 28 shows a side view of the blood treatment device 11 with the attachment assembly 24 in the position shown in FIG. 24.

Figure 29 shows another view of the connection assembly 14 of the blood treatment device in the closed flushing position.

Figure 30 shows the attachment assembly 14 of Figure 29, in which the container 1 has been attached by its attachment element 3 (hook shape) and the blood treatment device attachment element 16 (pillar shape). In this description, the attachment assembly 14 is still in the closed flushing position.

Figure 31 shows the attachment assembly 14, in which the container 1 has moved inward under the protrusion 17 and has been protruded upward by inserting the connecting element of the blood treatment device into the connecting element of the container 1 The part 17 moves or is fluidly coupled to the blood processing machine by moving the connecting element 20 of the blood processing device down into the connecting element 5 of the container 1.

Next, a method of connecting a concentrate container to the blood treatment device according to the present invention will be described.

As shown in FIG. 32, the attachment element 16 of the blood treatment device is inserted into the attachment element 3 of the container 1. As can be seen in Figure 32, the attachment element 16 of the blood treatment device and the attachment element 3 of the container are configured asymmetrically to allow the container to be mounted to the blood treatment device in only one correct installation position.

Figure 33 shows the container 1 connected to the attachment element 16 of the blood treatment device via the attachment element 3 of the container. The guiding element 15 then moves inwardly toward the side surface of the blood treatment device 11 in the horizontal direction to pull the container 1 under the protrusion 17 as illustrated in FIG. 34.

It can also be seen from FIG. 34 that the connecting element 20 and the connecting element 5 of the blood treatment device are aligned in the vertical direction in this position, so that the connecting element 20 can be inserted into the connecting element 5 of the container 1 by moving along the vertical axis.

As shown in FIG. 35, by moving the guide element 15 and therefore the container 1 upward toward the protrusion 17, the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device can be inserted into the connecting element 5 of the container 1. Alternatively, the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device can be moved downward to be inserted into the connecting element 5 of the container 1.

When the container 1 is fluidly coupled to the blood processing device via the connecting element 20 and the connecting element 5 as shown in FIG. 36, it can be processed by a blood processing machine, which is derived from the powder contained in the main body 2 of the container 1 The concentrate produces a liquid concentrate.

After the processing is completed, the guiding element 15 and therefore the container 1 attached to it moves downwards, as illustrated in FIG. 37. Continue to move the container 1 downwards until the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device is removed from the connecting element 5 of the container 1, as illustrated in FIG. 38.

The guiding element 15 and therefore the container 1 attached to it then subsequently move outwards from the side surface of the blood treatment device 11 in a horizontal direction similar to a drawer.

1。As illustrated in Fig. 39, the movement of the container 1 can be suspended in a position where the container 1 is vertically aligned with the connecting element 20 of the blood processing device, so that any small droplets dripping from the connecting element 20 of the blood processing device are taken by the container 1. (Preferably connecting element 5 of container 1) Capture. As shown in FIG. 40, the container 1 is then moved by moving the guide element 15 relative to the protruding portion 17 until the container 1 is positioned farther/farther from the side surface of the blood treatment device 11 than the front edge of the protruding portion 17. This makes it easy for the user to hold the container 1.

As shown in FIG. 41, the container 1 can be easily separated from the attachment element 16 of the blood processing device by pulling the container 1 away from the blood processing device 11.

After the container 1 has been removed, the blood treatment machine can then move the guiding element 15 upward and/or inward toward the side surface of the blood treatment device 11 until the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device is vertically aligned with the guiding element 20 The cavity 18 of the element 15 is aligned, as shown in FIG. 42.

In this position, the blood treatment device can enter the closed/flush position. As shown in Figure 43, the guiding element 15 is further moved upward or the connecting element 20 of the blood treatment device 11 is further moved downward to insert the connecting element 20 into the cavity 18 of the guiding element 15 to enter the closed flushing position .

The blood treatment machine can now be flushed and a new treatment can be started during flushing by attaching a new concentrate bag to the guiding element 15 using the attachment element 16.

It is also possible to manually perform all the movements of the guiding element 15 relative to the protruding portion 17. For this purpose, the attachment assembly 14 of the blood treatment device may include a lever 21 as shown in FIG. 44 or a similar structure that allows the user to manually move the guide element relative to the protrusion 17.

Fig. 45 shows a cross-sectional view of the following specific example: the fluid dosing unit of the blood treatment device is equipped with an integrated valve 23 to prevent fluid from dripping from the fluid dosing unit/connecting unit 20 of the fluid dosing unit when there is no container 1 connected to the fluid dosing unit .

In this example, the fluid dosing unit corresponds to the attachment assembly 14 discussed above.
