Abstract
一種電連接器,包括本體,係包括基部及自該基部向前延伸的對接舌板,該對接舌板定義有兩相對的對接面及連接對接面的兩相對側面;端子,係承載於本體,該端子包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面的接觸部及延伸出基部的接腳;外殼,係承載於本體且包括固定在基部的固定部及包圍對接舌板而形成收容空間的對接部;所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩側面處設置有兩相對的短壁,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩對接面處僅設置一長壁或者不設置長壁而使得對接舌板的至少一表面在垂直於對接部的方向上呈裸露狀態。
Description
本發明係關於一種電連接器,其安裝於一電子設備。
中華民國103年8月11日,USB協會公佈了一種新型的電連接器,其插頭連接器能夠正反兩方向插入對應的插座連接器,該插座連接器命名為USB Type C連接器。根據目前業界報告的新聞,該電連接器後續有較大的發展潛力,各連接器廠商配合系統廠商積極開發中。
中國大陸實用新型專利公告第204651582U號專利公開了一種USB Type C插座連接器,其防水金屬外殼是由金屬材料衝壓成型的,金屬外殼具有一定的厚度。該等防水連接器一般使用在可擕式設備,比如手機及平板電腦上,該等可擕式設備越來越趨向小型化,具有一定厚度及形狀的金屬外殼則不能滿足該需要。
是以,需要提供一種改進之電連接器以滿足上述需求。
本發明之主要目的在於提供一種電連接器及其組合,其能滿足低構型的堆疊需求。
本發明之目的係藉以如下技術方案達成之:一種電連接器,包括本體,係包括基部及自該基部向前延伸的對接舌板,該對接舌板定義有兩相對的對接面及連接對接面的兩相對側面;端子,係承載於本體,該端子包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面的接觸部及延伸出基部的接腳;及外殼,係承載於本體且包括固定在基部的固定部及包圍對接舌板而形成收容空間的對接部;所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩側面處設置有兩相對的短壁,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩對接面處僅設置一長壁或者不設置長壁而使得對接舌板的至少一表面在垂直於對接部的方向上呈裸露狀態。
本發明之目之還藉以如下技術方案達成之:一種電子設備,包括外殼,係設有插接口;電路板;及電連接器,係安裝在電路板且安裝在外殼內,該電連接器包括本體、承載在本體的端子及外殼,所述本體包括基部及自基部向前延伸的對接舌板,該對接舌板定義有兩相對的對接面及連接對接面的兩相對側面,所述端子包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面的接觸部及延伸出基部而連接於電路板的接腳;所述外殼包括固定在基部的固定部及包圍對接舌板而形成收容空間的對接部;所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩側面處設置有兩相對的短壁,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩對接面處僅設置一長壁或者不設置長壁;所述對接部的兩短壁與外殼的插接口相連通。
相較於習知技術,本發明的外殼去除一或兩長壁,可以在保證電連接器外殼強度的同時降低其佔用電子設備空間。

如下具體實施方式將結合上述附圖進一步說明本發明。
參第一圖至第二圖,本發明公開了一種低構型的電連接器100,該電連接器100為安裝在電路板200上的插座連接器,同時電連接器100安裝在電子設備300外殼301內,電子設備的外殼301具有插接口302,電連接器的插接部100a凸伸入該插接口302,以供外部線纜連接器的插頭連接器插入,達成電性連接。
參第七圖,同時結合第五圖及第六圖,所述電連接器100包括本體40、承載在本體的端子50及外殼60,所述本體40包括基部41及自基部向前延伸的對接舌板42,對接舌板42定義有兩相對的對接面421及連接對接面421的兩相對側面422,所述端子50包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面421的接觸部51及延伸出基部41的接腳52,接觸部51與接腳52之間由連接部53連接在一起,連接部53埋設在本體40內。所述本體40一般由絕緣材料一體注塑而形成絕緣本體。
外殼60包括固定在基部41的固定部61及包圍對接舌板42而形成收容空間621的對接部62。本實施例中,所述外殼60是由金屬粉末射出成型方法製造形成的,其包括兩短壁622及一長壁623,結合第二圖,外殼的對接部62在對應對接舌板42的兩側面422處設置有兩相對的所述短壁622,在對應一對接面421(即上對接面)處僅設置一上長壁623a,所述長、短的定義是指從前向後看對接部62對應壁面的相對長度而言。在其他實施例中,可以不設上長壁而改成設置下長壁,總之,如此設置可以使得對接舌板42的至少一表面421在垂直於對接部62的方向A-A上呈裸露狀態;也可以如第十一圖所示,將上長壁也省略,即對接部62不設置長壁而使得對接舌板的兩對接面422在垂直於對接部的方向A-A上均呈裸露狀態。結合第九圖所示,所述短壁622的內壁面6222為弧狀,短壁的外壁面6221呈平面結構。長壁的厚度a較所述短壁的厚度b小。當對接的插頭連接器插入收容空間621時,兩短壁自由端6223a、6223b之間的連線與所述插頭連接器對應的外表面相重合。本發明的外殼60為由金屬材料一體注塑而成,相較于鈑金彎折(Bending)而形成的低強度金屬外殼,在提供遮蔽作用時可以提供更好強度,當然在電子設備外殼的顏色匹配上也留有更多的顏色調配空間。在去除部分或者完全去除長壁時,可以避免為保證高強度時而過多佔用空間的問題,外殼的兩相對短壁有足夠的強度,提供限制插頭連接器正確插入的收容空間。當然,該外殼可以壓鑄鋅合金或者鈑金衝壓成型而形成金屬外殼,或者由強度較好的絕緣材料射出形成而形成絕緣外殼,相對而言,絕緣外殼則無防止訊號幹擾的遮蔽效果。
結合第五圖及第六圖,外殼的固定部61包括兩短壁611及兩長壁612、613,兩長壁包括上長壁613及下長壁612,其中下長壁612的前端面6131與基部41的前端面411在垂直對接部62的方向A-A上彼此平齊。上長壁613與對接部的上長壁623一體延伸且共面,所述端子的接腳52位於下長壁612的後方。固定部61的上長壁613的後邊緣彎折出後壁615,後壁615焊接在所述固定部61的短壁611的後端面。上長壁613在固定部61與對接部62交界處向下凸伸有兩抵擋塊63,本體的基部41向前抵擋在抵擋塊63後,防止本體40向前過度伸出。
參第七圖,所述固定部61的兩短壁611分別橫向延伸出安裝翼614,安裝翼614設置有安裝孔6141。所述電路板200包括向前凸伸的承載部21,承載部21上設置有導電片211。結合第三圖及第六圖所示,兩安裝翼614之間裸露有本體40,所述端子的接腳52呈前後兩排排列。在電連接器100安裝在電路板200時,所述電路板的承載部21設置在兩安裝翼614之間,承載部21同時向前抵靠在外殼固定部的下長壁612的後端面,本體40上凸伸的定位柱412穿過電路板的定位孔22而達成初步的定位及固定,端子的接腳52與電路板的導電片211彼此接觸。在電連接器100與電路板200一起安裝在電子設備300的外殼時,安裝翼614藉由螺栓而固定在電子設備的外殼60上。參第四圖,所述外殼60(包括後壁615)與電路板200之間留有一定的間距g,用來供接地裝置的連接。
所述電連接器100還包括位於本體40內的遮蔽板70,所述端子分成兩排且排列在對接舌板42的兩側,遮蔽板70設置在兩排端子之間且具有凸伸出對接舌板42的鎖扣側緣71,遮蔽板70的前邊緣整體向前凸伸出對應的對接舌板,可以防止對接時的短路。
參第七圖及第八圖,所述電連接器100還包括遮蔽環80。所述對接舌板42設有鄰近基部41的根部424,遮蔽環包覆在根部424,所述遮蔽環80進一步延伸有搭接片81,所述搭接片81搭接固定部的長壁613、612(參第五圖),搭接片81與長壁可以藉由鐳射焊接作進一步的焊接固定。遮蔽環80也在其橫向兩側接觸遮蔽板70,兩者也可以藉由鐳射焊接做進一步的固定,遮蔽板70在其鎖扣側緣71的後方形成阻擋片72,阻擋片72大致位於根部424處,所述阻擋片72可以防止對接連接器的過度插入,同時該阻擋片72與遮蔽環80沿前後方向彼此搭接。結合第十圖,遮蔽環80為兩片,遮蔽環80的兩端具有彼此扣合的扣合孔831及扣合塊832。搭接片81包括上搭接片81a及下搭接片81b,上搭接片81a包括自上遮蔽半環80a延伸的連接部812及自連接部812繼續延伸的延伸部813,連接部812的寬度大於延伸部813,下搭接片81b自下遮蔽半環80b延伸且具有彼此獨立的一對,參第六圖,所述外殼的固定部61在下長壁處設置有兩與下搭接片81b對應的凹陷6123,藉由在凹陷6123出直接進行鐳射焊接,可以將下搭接片81b與外殼60做進一步的焊接固定。
絕緣本體與端子、遮蔽板及遮蔽環的製造方式在此不再詳細敍述,可以參本申請先前申請的專利申請第105108371號。
第十二圖及第十三圖顯示了電連接器中進一步改進的遮蔽板91、上排端子921、下排端子922、上遮蔽半環923及下遮蔽半環924,其中遮蔽板91不再是由金屬片衝壓形成,而是由金屬板鍛造形成,遮蔽板的兩側具有加厚部911,加厚部的外部橫向凸伸鎖扣側緣912及阻擋片913。上遮蔽半環923延伸出後壁9231,該後壁9231覆蓋本體的後端面,如此,外殼60則無需設置後壁615,如此可以大大簡化外殼的成型過程。
第十四圖顯示了本體向前延伸出的限制凸肋961結構,該限制凸肋961限制插頭連接器的插入。第十五圖顯示了一種堆疊電連接器,鈑金彎折的金屬外殼具有向內凸伸邊緣960,該凸伸邊緣包覆部分下連接器,同時構成上電連接器的插入空間。

Claims (13)
- 一種電連接器,包括:
本體,係包括基部及自該基部向前延伸的對接舌板,該對接舌板定義有兩相對的對接面及連接對接面的兩相對側面;
端子,係承載於本體,該端子包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面的接觸部及延伸出基部的接腳;及
外殼,係承載於本體且包括固定在基部的固定部及包圍對接舌板而形成收容空間的對接部;
其中,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩側面處設置有兩相對的短壁,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩對接面處僅設置一長壁或者不設置長壁而使得對接舌板的至少一表面在垂直於對接部的方向上呈裸露狀態。 - 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述外殼係非鈑金彎折件,所述短壁的內壁面係弧狀,短壁的外壁面呈平面結構。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之電連接器,其中所述電連接器用來供一對接連接器對接,所述兩短壁自由端之間的連線與所述對接連接器對應的外表面相重合。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項、第2項或第3項所述之電連接器,其中所述長壁的厚度較所述短壁的厚度小。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項、第2項或第3項所述之電連接器,其中所述外殼的固定部包括兩短壁及兩長壁,所述長壁的前端面與基部的前端面在垂直對接部的方向上彼此平齊。
- 如申請專利範圍第5項所述之電連接器,其中所述固定部的長壁包括上長壁及下長壁,所述固定部的上長壁與所述對接部的長壁一體延伸且共面,所述端子的接腳位於下長壁的後方。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之電連接器,其中所述固定部的上長壁的後邊緣彎折出後壁,所述後壁焊接在所述固定部短壁的後端面。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器,其中所述固定部的兩短壁分別橫向延伸出安裝翼,所述安裝翼設置有安裝孔。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之電連接器,其中所述電連接器包括遮蔽環以及設置於兩對接面之間的遮蔽板,遮蔽環包圍在對接舌板臨近基部的根部,所述遮蔽環延伸有搭接片,所述搭接片搭接固定部的長壁;所述遮蔽環接觸遮蔽板;所述遮蔽板在對應遮蔽環處設置有抵擋片。
- 一種電子設備,包括:
外殼,係設有插接口;
電路板;及
電連接器,係安裝在電路板且安裝在外殼內,該電連接器包括本體、承載在本體的端子及外殼,所述本體包括基部及自基部向前延伸的對接舌板,該對接舌板定義有兩相對的對接面及連接對接面的兩相對側面,所述端子包括裸露在對接舌板的對接面的接觸部及延伸出基部而連接於電路板的接腳;所述外殼包括固定在基部的固定部及包圍對接舌板而形成收容空間的對接部;
其中,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩側面處設置有兩相對的短壁,所述外殼的對接部在對應所述對接舌板的兩對接面處僅設置一長壁或者不設置長壁;所述對接部的兩短壁與外殼的插接口相連通。 - 如申請專利範圍第10項所述之電子設備,其中所述外殼係非鈑金彎折件,所述外殼的短壁的內壁面係弧狀,短壁的外壁面呈平面結構。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項或第11項所述之電子設備,其中所述外殼長壁的厚度較所述短壁的厚度小。
- 如申請專利範圍第10項或第11項所述之電子設備,其中所述外殼的固定部包括兩短壁及兩長壁,所述固定部的長壁包括上長壁及下長壁,所述固定部的上長壁與所述對接部的長壁一體延伸且共面,所述端子的接腳位於所述下長壁的後方。
