Abstract

The present invention provides a manufacturing method for a hard coating film, with which at least one side of a transparent support is coated, comprising at least the following steps to form the hard coating layer by curing a hard coating forming composition (a) to (d). If the total solid content of the hard coating forming composition is set to be 100 mass%, the hard coating forming composition comprises 10 to 40 mass% of (a), 40 to 89.8 mass% of (b), 0.1 to 10 mass% of (c), and 0.1 to 10 mass% of (d), in which (a) is a compound having a molecular weight less than 300 and containing an alicyclic epoxy group and a group of ethylenically unsaturated double bond in a molecule; (b) is a compound containing more than 3 groups of ethylenically unsaturated double bond in a molecule; (c) is a free-radical polymerization initiator; and (d) is a cationic polymerization initiator.
