Abstract

A DC power backup system includes an automatic switching element and a DC backup module. The automatic switching element includes a first power input terminal, a second power input terminal and a power output terminal. The first power input terminal is connected to a transmission network power supply unit. The power output terminal is connected to an AC input terminal of an AC/DC converter. A DC output terminal of the DC backup module is connected to the second power input terminal of the automatic switching element. When the transmission network power supply unit is abnormal, the power output terminal of the automatic switching element is switched to connect the second power input terminal so that the DC backup module supplies DC backup power to the AC/DC converter. The minimum operating voltage of the DC backup power is greater than that of the AC/DC converter.
