Abstract
A key switch is provided, including a keycap, a base, a balance bar, and a buffer sheet. The keycap can move up and down. The base includes a hook and a receiving space. The hook forms a hole, and the receiving space is positioned underneath the hook and communicated with the hole. The balance bar connects the keycap with the base, and an end portion of the balance bar slides in the hole to respond accordingly to the up and down movement of the keycap. The buffer sheet is disposed on the base and includes a main body and an extension. The extension is extended from the main body and covers the receiving space. When the balance bar slides in the hole, the portion contacts the buffer sheet, such that the contact area between the portion and the buffer sheet is reduced.
