Abstract
顯示系統包含一顯示面板及一電泳觸控面板。電泳觸控面板係選擇性地與顯示面板電性連接或電性分離。當電泳觸控面板與顯示面板電性連接時,電泳觸控面板顯示一輸入介面,用以輸入一訊號至顯示面板。
Description
本發明係關於一種顯示系統,尤指一種包含電泳觸控面板之顯示系統。
平面顯示裝置(Flat Panel Display)因具有外型輕薄、省電以及無輻射等優點,所以被廣泛地應用於電腦螢幕、行動電話、個人數位助理(PDA)、平面電視等電子產品上。近年來,顯示器業者另開發了電泳式顯示裝置(又稱電子紙,Electronic Paper),以進一步提供更輕薄、柔軟與便於攜帶之顯示器,且電子紙可以在無外加電壓的情況下保留住原先顯示的圖片和文字狀態。
相較於筆記型電腦,電泳顯示器便於攜帶且較為省電。然而在輸入指令時,電泳顯示器仍不及具有鍵盤(keyboard)的筆記型電腦來得方便,而大大降低實用性。
本發明之一實施例係關於一種顯示系統,此顯示系統包含一顯示面板及一電泳觸控面板。電泳觸控面板係選擇性地與顯示面板電性連接或電性分離。當電泳觸控面板與顯示面板電性連接時,電泳觸控面板顯示一輸入介面,用以輸入一訊號至顯示面板。
透過本發明實施例的設置,以電泳觸控面板作為顯示面板訊號輸入裝置,使用者不須額外地準備實體鍵盤或實體滑鼠,及可便利地對顯示面板輸入指令。此外,電泳觸控面板因具有外型輕薄、低重量的優點,使用者在攜帶上也較實體鍵盤更為方便,且與顯示面板電性分離後,也可獨立使用作為電子閱讀器。
在說明書及後續的申請專利範圍當中使用了某些詞彙來指稱特定的元件。所屬領域中具有通常知識者應可理解,製造商可能會用不同的名詞來稱呼同樣的元件。本說明書及後續的申請專利範圍並不以名稱的差異來作為區別元件的方式,而是以元件在功能上的差異來作為區別的基準。在通篇說明書及後續的請求項當中所提及的「包含」係為一開放式的用語,故應解釋成「包含但不限定於」。此外,「耦接」、「電性連接」之用語在此係包含任何直接及間接的電氣連接手段。因此,若文中描述第一裝置係電性連接於第二裝置,則代表該第一裝置可直接連接於該第二裝置,或透過其他裝置或連接手段間接地連接至該第二裝置。
下文依本發明特舉實施例配合所附圖式作詳細說明,但所提供之實施例並非用以限制本發明所涵蓋的範圍,而方法流程步驟編號更非用以限制其執行先後次序,任何由方法步驟重新組合之執行流程,所產生具有均等功效的方法,皆為本發明所涵蓋的範圍。
請參考第1圖,第1圖係為本發明第一實施例顯示系統100之示意圖。如第1圖所示,顯示系統100包含一顯示面板50及一電泳觸控面板60。電泳觸控面板60可選擇性地與顯示面板50電性連接或電性分離。當電泳觸控面板60與顯示面板50電性連接時,電泳觸控面板60將顯示輸入介面70,以供使用者輸入訊號至顯示面板50;當電泳觸控面板60與顯示面板50電性分離時,電泳觸控面板60將不顯示輸入介面70,而改為顯示一電子閱讀器介面或一手寫板介面。顯示面板50可例如是平板電腦(tablet)的顯示面板,且可為電泳顯示面板、液晶顯示面板,或主動式有機電發光二極體顯示器(AMOLED)。輸入介面70可以是虛擬鍵盤、虛擬指標輸入裝置或虛擬滑鼠等可提供使用者進行操作的多媒體影像。
顯示面板50包含一第一訊號介面54,且電泳觸控面板60包含一第二訊號介面64,經由一傳輸線80耦接第一訊號介面54與第二訊號介面64,可使電泳觸控面板60與顯示面板50電性連接,以使電泳觸控面板60可與顯示面板50傳輸訊號。舉例來說,第一訊號介面54與第二訊號介面64可以是通用串列匯流排(Universal Serial Bus,USB)、HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface)、VGA(Video Graphics Array)等連接埠,然不限於此。
第一實施例中,透過電泳觸控面板60作為顯示面板50訊號輸入裝置,使用者不須額外地準備實體鍵盤或實體滑鼠,及可便利地對
顯示面板50輸入指令。此外,電泳觸控面板60因具有外型輕薄、低重量的優點,使用者在攜帶上也較實體鍵盤更為方便。又,電泳觸控面板60與顯示面板50電性分離後,也可獨立使用作為電子閱讀器。
請參考第2圖,第2圖係為本發明第二實施例顯示系統200之示意圖。如第2圖所示,顯示系統200與顯示系統100的差別在於,顯示系統200中,顯示面板50另包含第一連結件52,且電泳觸控面板60另包含第二連結件62,第一連結件52與第二連結件62可為互相搭配的卡榫、扣環等用以相互連接之構件,第一連結件52與第二連結件62也可設置為透過螺絲而互相固定之構件,且數量上並無限制。經由第一連結件52與第二連結件62相連結,可使顯示面板50與電泳觸控面板60在機構上相耦接。透過第二實施例的設置,可使顯示面板50與電泳觸控面板60的連結更為牢固,且整體上佔用較小的空間。
請參考第3圖,第3圖係為本發明第三實施例顯示系統300之示意圖。如第3圖所示,顯示系統300與顯示系統100的差別在於,顯示系統300中,顯示面板50另包含第一無線通訊單元56,但不包含第一訊號介面54,且電泳觸控面板60另包含第二無線通訊單元66但不包含第二訊號介面64。第一無線通訊單元56與第二無線通訊單元66係符合藍芽或無線保真(WiFi,wireless fidelity)規格,而本發明不限於此,第一無線通訊單元56與第二無線通訊單元66亦
可設置為符合其他無線傳輸規格,並透過該些規格進行無線傳輸。顯示面板50與電泳觸控面板60係藉由第一無線通訊單元56與第二無線通訊單元66以無線的方式電性連接,以傳輸訊號。透過第三實施例的設置,顯示面板50與電泳觸控面板60之間不須透過傳輸線80來電性耦接,而增加使用上的實用性。
第一實施例至第三實施例僅用以舉例,並不用以限定,且第一實施例至第三實施例中不同的特徵也可互相結合,例如顯示系統300除了包含第一無線通訊單元56、第二無線通訊單元66外,也可設置為包含第1圖之第一訊號介面54、第二訊號介面64,以及包含第2圖之第一連結件52、第二連結件62。凡透過電泳顯示器作為輸入裝置用以對另一電子顯示裝置進行操作,均屬本發明之範疇。此外,第三實施例中,顯示系統300也可設置為另包含一觸控筆90,用以對電泳觸控面板60及顯示面板50進行觸控,以及包含一固定機構92,用以收納觸控筆90,固定機構92可為凹槽、細孔、卡榫等設置在顯示面板50上之機構。透過以上觸控筆90的設置,使用者可對顯示系統300進行更精細的操作,且透過固定機構92的設置,觸控筆可收納於300,以便利攜帶。然而,在第一實施例或第二實施例中,亦可設置觸控筆與對應之固定機構,且固定機構亦可設置於電泳觸控面板上,本發明皆不以此為限。
綜上所述,透過本發明第一實施例至第三實施例的設置,以電泳觸控面板60作為顯示面板50訊號輸入裝置,使用者不須額外地準
備實體鍵盤或實體滑鼠,及可便利地對顯示面板50輸入指令。此外,電泳觸控面板60因具有外型輕薄、低重量的優點,使用者在攜帶上也較實體鍵盤更為方便,且與顯示面板50電性分離後,也可獨立使用作為電子閱讀器。
以上所述僅為本發明之較佳實施例,凡依本發明申請專利範圍所做之均等變化與修飾,皆應屬本發明之涵蓋範圍。

Claims (10)
- 一種顯示系統,包含:一顯示面板;及一電泳觸控面板,選擇性地與該顯示面板電性連接或電性分離;其中當該電泳觸控面板與該顯示面板電性連接時,該電泳觸控面板顯示一輸入介面,用以輸入一訊號至該顯示面板。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中該顯示面板包含一第一連結件,該電泳觸控面板包含一第二連結件,經由該第一連結件與該第二連結件相連結,使該顯示面板與該電泳觸控面板在機構上相連接。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中該顯示面板包含一第一訊號介面,該電泳觸控面板包含一第二訊號介面,該第一訊號介面與該第二訊號介面經由一傳輸線相耦接,以使該電泳觸控面板與該顯示面板電性連接,以傳輸該訊號。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中該顯示面板包含一第一無線通訊單元,該電泳觸控面板包含一第二無線通訊單元,該顯示面板與該電泳觸控面板係藉由該第一無線通訊單元與該第二無線通訊單元以無線的方式電性連接,以傳輸該訊號。
- 如請求項4所述之顯示系統,其中該第一無線通訊單元與該第二無線通訊單元係符合藍芽或無線保真(WiFi,wireless fidelity)規格。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中該輸入介面係一虛擬鍵盤、一虛擬指標輸入裝置或一虛擬滑鼠。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中該顯示面板係一電泳顯示面板、一液晶顯示面板或一主動式有機電發光二極體顯示器(AMOLED)。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,其中當該電泳觸控面板與該顯示面板電性分離時,該電泳觸控面板顯示一電子閱讀器介面或一手寫板介面。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示系統,另包含一觸控筆,用以對該電泳觸控面板及該顯示面板進行觸控。
- 如請求項9所述之顯示系統,另包含一固定機構,用以收納該觸控筆。
