Abstract

本發明涉及一種背光模組,其包括一環形導光元件以及一光源。該環形導光元件包括一環形本體以及一自該環形本體向外突出延伸的入光部。該入光部包括一自該環形本體的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面以及一入光面,該入光面連接該圓弧面與該環形本體的外邊緣。該光源對準該入光面。

Description

背光模組及環形導光元件
本發明涉及背光模組及導光元件,尤其涉及一種環形導光元件及使用該環形導光元件的背光模組。
背光模組作為一種光源模組,常為儀表、顯示裝置等電子裝置照明。一種典型的背光模組包括一光源及一導光元件,該導光元件為一環形體,該光源位於該環形體側邊。該背光模組缺陷在於大部分光易從環形體向外漏出,而環形體的光量不足,光線分佈不均勻。
有鑒於此,有必要提供一種可以克服上述問題的背光模組及環形導光元件。
一種背光模組,其包括一環形導光元件以及一光源。該環形導光元件包括一環形本體以及一自該環形本體向外突出延伸的入光部。該入光部包括一自該環形本體的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面以及一入光面,該入光面連接該圓弧面與該環形本體的外邊緣。該光源對準該入光面。
一種環形導光元件,其包括一環形本體以及一自該環形本體向外突出延伸的入光部。該入光部包括一自該環形本體的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面以及一入光面,該入光面連接該圓弧面與該環形本體的外邊緣。
相對於先前技術,本發明提供之環形導光元件具有一突出延伸的入光部,該入光部自該環形本體外邊緣平滑延伸出,光線經該入光部可以較均勻傳遞至整個環形本體。
請參閱圖1,本發明實施例提供之背光模組100包括一光源10及一環形導光元件20。
該光源10可以為單個或多個燈管或發光二極體(LED)。該環形導光元件20包括一環形本體22以及一自該環形本體22向外突出延伸的入光部24。
該環形本體22為一中空圓環形。該入光部24包括一自該環形本體22的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面242,以及一入光面246。該入光面246位於該圓弧面242的端部且與該環形本體22的外邊緣連接。
該入光部24與該環形本體22無縫連接,且與該環形本體22一體成型。
該圓弧面242自該環形本體22的外邊緣逐漸遠離該環形本體22,即該入光部24自該環形本體22的外邊緣向外延伸的同時逐漸增厚。
該入光面246為一矩形平面,且該入光面246與該環形本體22的外邊緣垂直。
該光源10對準該入光面246。請一並參閱圖2及圖3,由於該入光部24自該環形本體22平滑延伸出,光線經該入光部24可以較均勻傳遞至整個環形本體22。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種背光模組,其包括:
    一環形導光元件包括一環形本體以及一自該環形本體向外突出延伸的入光部,該入光部包括一自該環形本體的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面以及一入光面,該入光面連接該圓弧面與該環形本體的外邊緣;以及
    一光源對準該入光面。
  2. 如請求項1所述之背光模組,其中:該入光部與該環形本體無縫連接。
  3. 如請求項2所述之背光模組,其中:該入光部與該環形本體為一體成型結構。
  4. 如請求項1所述之背光模組,其中:該入光面為一矩形平面,且該入光面與該環形本體的外邊緣垂直。
  5. 如請求項1所述之背光模組,其中:該環形本體為中空圓環形。
  6. 一種環形導光元件,其包括一環形本體以及一自該環形本體向外突出延伸的入光部,該入光部包括一自該環形本體的外邊緣平滑延伸出的圓弧面以及一入光面,該入光面連接該圓弧面與該環形本體的外邊緣。
  7. 如請求項6所述之環形導光元件,其中:該入光部與該環形本體無縫連接。
  8. 如請求項7所述之環形導光元件,其中:該入光部與該環形本體為一體成型結構。
  9. 如請求項6所述之環形導光元件,其中:該入光面為一矩形平面,且該入光面與該環形本體的外邊緣垂直。
  10. 如請求項6所述之環形導光元件,其中:該環形本體為中空圓環形。
