植物生長調節劑經常用於調節作物植物的生長和發育。例如,植物生長調節劑用於減緩作物(例如油菜)的發育,使得它在希望的時間開花;用於降低作物(例如在穀類中)的高度,使它更不易倒伏;用於增加氮效率;用於調節作物(例如果樹)的開花和坐果以及用於減緩草皮草生長速率以降低割草頻率。

WO2010/063446涉及藉由向草皮草施用植物生長調節劑以及茉莉酸來改進草皮草品質的方法。WO2011/063946涉及藉由施用植物生長調節劑以及茉莉酸或其鹽或酯的混合物,來改進作物植物的植物生長調節和/或增強作物植物的一種方法。雖然順式-茉莉酮在文獻中被描述為茉莉酸的代謝物(Koch(科赫)等人(1997),Helvetica Chimica Acta 80,838-850頁)),WO2010/063446以及WO2011/063946兩者都未披露順式-茉莉酮,或提出這種不活潑並且揮發性的代謝物在促進或調節植物的生長上可能是有用的。
本發明在於發現了當與順式-茉莉酮組合施用時,植物生長調節劑顯示出改進的植物生長調節作用。已經發現,甚至在已經使用順式-

胺、十八烷酸、辛胺乙酸酯、油酸、油胺、鄰二甲苯、苯酚、聚乙二醇(PEG400)、丙酸、丙二醇、丙二醇甲醚、對二甲苯、甲苯、磷酸三乙酯、三乙二醇、二甲苯磺酸、石蠟、礦物油、三氯乙烯、全氯乙烯、乙酸乙酯、乙酸戊酯、乙酸丁酯、甲醇、乙醇、異丙醇、和更高分子量的醇(例如戊醇、四氫糠醇、己醇、辛醇、等)、乙二醇、丙二醇、甘油、N-甲基-2-吡咯啶酮、以及類似物。水通常是用以稀釋濃縮劑的選用載體。

根據本發明,提供了植物生長調節組合物,包括從約100:1至約1:100的重量比的植物生長調節劑以及順式-茉莉酮。適當地,該重量比係從10:1至1:10。在另外一實施方式中,該植物生長調節劑以及順式-茉莉酮係以協同有效量存在的。在一替代實施方式中,該植物生長調節劑係抗倒酯。

設置了溫室試驗以比較抗倒酯、順式-茉莉酮、以及不同比率的抗倒酯與順式-茉莉酮混合物對夏季大麥(Pasadena)以及冬季黑麥(Rekrut)的生長調節效果。
表1描述了所做的多組處理。每種處理都以噴霧施用於處於植物生長階段30(莖伸長之開始)的該植物的葉片上。施用30天后,對倒伏做出評價;結果在表2中,表示為倒伏百分比。
將處理4以及5與處理1進行比較,結果示出,單獨使用順式-茉莉酮顯著增加了倒伏。因為其已知的植物生長調節特性,人們會期望添加抗倒酯能夠降低倒伏的水平。然而,出人意料地,儘管順式-茉莉酮的生長促進效應,但抗倒酯的存在顯著減少了倒伏。在一些比率,完全沒有倒伏(處理6以及7);在其他比率,倒伏情況類似(處理9)或比單獨使用抗倒酯更低(處理8)。
此外,與未處理的對照組以及單獨的處理組相比,用TXP以及CJN混合物處理的植物在作物發育晚期(當麥穗可見的時候)表現出了非常好的植物立地性。此外,該等植物具有更多的根,並且視覺上是健康和有活力的。
在瑞士設置了試驗以比較抗倒酯、順式-茉莉酮、以及抗倒酯與順式-茉莉酮混合物對大麥的生長調節效果。
表3描述了所做的多組處理,並且獲得了結果。施用21天后,對株高做出評價。

結果示出,抗倒酯與順式-茉莉酮的混合物出人意料地表現出了在降低大麥的株高上的協同效果。

結果示出,在與未處理的對照組比較時,順式-茉莉酮增加了割草重量,並且出人意料地TXP+順式-茉莉酮的組合處理組顯著減少了割草重量。這證明,抗倒酯抵消了順式-茉莉酮對草皮的生長刺激。
