Abstract

An imaging module includes a holder, a lens module, a filter, a substrate connected to the holder, and an image sensor electrically connected to the substrate. The holder includes a framing sleeve and a base defining a receiving space in which the image sensor is received. The lens module includes a lens barrel fixed in the framing sleeve and at least one lens received in the lens barrel. Adhesive is gummed onto the lens module to adhere the filter to the lens module, thus incident lights passing through the lens and the filter in order and projecting on the image sensor. The imaging module can be easily manufactured and achieve a greater yield. A manufacturing method for the imaging module is further provided.
