Abstract

The present invention provides a sample and hold circuit and a touch sensing device formed by coupling the sample and hold circuit to a capacitive touch sensor and a signal processing device. In the sample and hold circuit, it comprises a scaling capacitor, and a control circuit. The scaling capacitor, having a first end and a second end, is coupled in series to the capacitive touch sensor by the first end, and is coupled to control circuit by the second end. Since the scaling capacitor is coupled in series to the capacitive touch sensor, no matter how the specification of the capacitive touch sensor is varied, the equivalent capacitance will be dominated by the scaling capacitor so that the compatibility of the sample and hold circuit can be effectively retained for capacitive touch sensor having different specification.
