Abstract

This invention provides a microphone having a microphone frame in which a microphone capsule is contained, a microphone grip, and a connection portion which rotatably connects the microphone frame with the microphone grip for adjusting the angle of the microphone frame with respect to the microphone grip. The connection portion has a shockmount which is caused to flex when an external force such as an impact is applied thereto, so as to absorb shocksand vibrations. The shockmount has a metallic housing and an electric member having a periphery held by the metallic housing, and the microphone frame has an axis held by a central part of the electric member.
