Abstract

A method for updating picture frame is applied to an e-paper apparatus having a control unit. The control unit first receives a first updating command for setting a first target grey level to a pixel. When the control unit is processing the first updating command and receives a second updating command for setting a second target grey level to the pixel, the control unit computes a new processing time after a recovery action and compares the new processing time with the original processing time. If the new processing time is shorter than the original processing time, the control unit executes the recovery action, and then processes the second updating command.
