201100927 六、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關於一種背光模組,特別是關於一種應用於平面顯示器中 的液晶顯示器之背光模組。 【先前技術】 近年來隨著光電技術與半導體製造技術之成熟,平面顯示器(FlatPanel Display)便蓬勃發展起來,其中液晶顯示器(LiquidCrystalDisplay/LCD)基於 0 其低電壓操作、無輻射線散射、重量輕以及體積小等優點,更逐漸取代傳 統的陰極射線管顯示器而成為近年來顯示器產品之主流。液晶顯示器主要 包括一液晶顯示面板(Liquid Crystal Display Panel)及一背光模組(backlight module) ’其中背光模組係用以提供此液晶顯示面板所需之面光源,而其中 以導光板(Light Guide Plate)為背光模組中提供液晶顯示器充分光源的關鍵 組件。 一般而言,背光模組可分為側光式與直下式兩種,其中側光式背光模 組之光源係配置於導光板之側邊,以便於提供液晶顯示器所需之光源。請 參考第1圖’為一習知的側光式背光模組中之導光板9之示意圖,導光板9 ^ 包含有複數個凹部位置91及多個從背板穿過凹部位置91的支撐柱92。支 撐柱92係主要將導光板9與其他背板、反射片或光學膜片…等固定於背光 模組中。而光源8射出之光線會射入導光板9 ’其中A部份之區域為顯示 品質之可視區A,但是因為光源8射入導光板9之光線會從凹部位置91局 部不均勻漏出,發生一漏光現象(light leakage),如第1圖中之B所示,而 此背光模組會發生顯示晝面亮度不均勻的現象(Mura),進一步更會降低其顯 示品質之可視區的光學品味。 緣是’有必要提供一種能提供均勻亮度的背光模組,以解決前述之相 關問題’能夠防止局部光線漏出至可視區而降低顯示器之顯示品質。 3 201100927 【發明内容】 為了解決上述先前技術不盡理想之處,本發明提供—種顯示器之背光 模組,其中背光模組主要包含有至少一光源裝置、殼體、導光板、複數個 固定結構及複數個遮光元件。殼體包含有一底板。導光板,具有上表面、 下表面及側表面,其邊緣具有複數個開口部,且下表面朝向殼體。複數個 固定結構,可凸設於底板,與導光板的開口部互相對應且穿入導光板的開 口部。複數個遮光元件’其光穿透率小於50%且設置於導光板的開口部。 因此,本發明之主要目的係提供一種顯示器之背光模組,其中背光模 組至少包含有-導光板,藉由複數個遮光元件設置於導光板的開口部,可 防止發生漏光現象’以翻較佳的光均自性,進而提_示品質之光學品 味。 【實施方式】 由於本發明係揭露-種顯示器m模組,其中所·之光學原理與 基本架構,已為相關技術領域具有通常知識者所能明瞭故以下文中之說 明,不再作完整描述。同時,以下文中所對照之赋,係表達與本發明特 徵有關之結構示意,並未亦不需要依據實際尺寸完整繪製合先敛明。 首先請參考第2 «,係本發明提出之第一較佳實施例,為一麵示器 之背光模組1G,主要包含有至少—光源裝置丨、殼體2、導光板4、複數個 固定結構5及複數個遮光元件45。殼體2包含有一底板3。導光板4具有 下表面42及側表面43,請參考第3圖,在導光板4邊緣具有 複數個開口部44。請繼續參考第2圖,其中導光板4係由下表面42朝向殼 體2方向設置於底板3上。複數_定結構5,可凸設於底板3,且與導光 板4的開口部44互相對應且穿入導光板4的開口部私,藉此以固定導光板 4』板3。此外’為了增加光的利用率,於導光板4之下表面42,進一步 可:置至^反射片7,故複數個固定結構5,進一步可固定導光板*、反 射片7與紐3。光《置丨為冷_縣賴⑽⑸純— 201100927201100927 VI.
