Abstract

This invention relates to a circuit configuration of a capacitor-type touch panel. A plurality of sensing electrodes and signal electrodes are formed on a touch layer. The signal electrodes are connected to the sensing electrodes and extend to the side of the touch layer with a similar length. A flexible circuit board having a plurality of metal signal wirings is disposed at the surrounding of the touch layer. Each metal signal wiring is connected to each signal electrode on one terminal and connected to a control chip at the other terminal. Since the lengths of the signal electrodes are similar and thus the resistance differences are small, and the resistance of the metal signal wiring is small, the resistance difference between the control chip and the sensing electrode can be maintained within the standard value. As a result, the signal electrodes can be formed on the touch layer as a substitute of the metal wirings without affecting the sensing ability of the touch panel; thus the metal manufacturing process and the equipment cost can be saved to greatly improve the yield efficiency.
