Abstract

The present invention provides a solid wood floor, composed of plural units, in which each of the units has plural base materials, each of the base material is composed by plural small blocks respectively cut from original wood and adjacently disposed alongside a plane, and growth patterns of each of the base materials face different directions; and a surface material cut from a portion of original wood that has complete growth patterns and formed as a sheet member having an area larger than the area of the base material, the surface material is provided on the top surface of the disposed base materials and is glued with the base materials so a surface having nice patterns is obtained. Because expanding directions of the base materials are different, outward expansion or warped deformation generated on two ends of each of the units is reduced, the appearance and the duration of the solid wood floor are therefore enhanced. And the material usage rate of original wood is higher so less wood is needed.
