INSTRUCTIONS: FIELD OF THE INVENTION Embodiments of the present invention are generally directed to mobile communication technologies, and the present invention relates in particular to the association of messages and contact information within a mobile terminal. L Prior Art 1 Background of the Invention Today's era has been referred to by some as "the age of communication," where people focus on the effective sharing of information. When people find 10 new ways to communicate and share information, geographical boundaries and physical distances change. Less important. When communication increases, the amount of knowledge and information transmitted between correspondents also increases. People cannot remember all of their own information, but usually rely on devices such as mobile terminals to provide information. Storage and access. However, even with external devices, the proper organization of information is important for projects that allow a 15 person (for example, a user of a mobile terminal) to quickly and easily find one of the information needed. When trying to organize information, today's mobile terminals generally use multiple applications to store some types of information and provide access to such information. For example, a user's contact information or the user can communicate with them 20 A person can be stored in an application, and the user's message or the user and another person The information/communication can be stored in another application. This configuration typically requires the user to access a contact application to obtain information about the user's contact information, such as a phone number and email address. The user can also write a message to one of the contact information of the user within the contact application from 5 200838270. However, in order to view a message (eg, a message that has been received by the user), the user A different application (for example, a messaging application) must be accessed to view or review the message. 5 A user may be able to create a file in the messaging application to store one of the messages sent and received. Folder or other organizational structure. For example, the user can create a folder in which he can store and access all messages sent to or received from a particular person. However, the user is still unable to Accessing information other than the stored message 10 from the messaging application. So there is a way to allow the user to be faster and The need to access and display any kind of information in a way that links and displays messages and contact information. multimedia message (e.g., a video or picture message). The message may be any information supported by the mobile terminal, including smart messaging, infrared data link (IrDA) communication, and beta message. 2〇 In the case of succession above, the recipient of the message (B) may include A as the link between B and the poor. For example, the identifier corresponding to A (for example, the last name and the name of A, his home phone number and work phone number and his email address) can be included in the mobile terminal of B to list eight as a contact. A link to the data item within the project. At the same time, the 20 200838270 message exchanged by the mobile terminal 1 can also include an identifier. For example, the message received by B may include A's telephone number or other identifier to identify A as the sender of the message. For example, the message may include a header and/or footer listing the one or more identifiers and other information related to the transmission of the message from 1⁄4A to B (eg, the transmission period and 5 hours) and including the communication An entity part of itself (for example, the text of a text message). If a message and a contact profile both include a common identifier, the processing component 17 can be configured to associate the message with the contact profile. For example, in the above example, the processing element 17 of the mobile terminal of B can read the header or other portion of the message received (transmitted by A) and find an identifier consisting of the telephone number of a. The processing component 17 can also find contact information and find a contact profile that uses the live number of A as an identifier. In this case, the message from A and the contact information listed under the item A include a phone number of the common identifier -A. Thus, in accordance with this embodiment, the 15 processing component 17 can associate the message from A with the contact profile information listed to A. Thus, by accessing the contact data item of A, the user b can view the message sent to or received from A, as described below. In addition, the processing component 17 can be configured to associate messages that cannot be associated with a corresponding contact with other messages that cannot be associated with any corresponding contact data. For example, B can receive a message from C, and B does not perform any pre-processing on C. The processing component 17 may attempt to link the message from C to one of the C association data; however, since B has never processed C, there is no such contact material. B can also receive a message from D, and D is not listed as one of B's contact information. In this case, the processing component 17 can associate the message from C with a message from 21 200838270 from D, such as listing the two messages in a name called 'Miscellaneous,' or 'Inbox ( Inbox)" inside a folder. Further, a message received or sent to by someone other than a contact material may cause the processing component 17 to generate a new contact profile, either automatically or as a result of a user input requesting a new contact profile. This message can then be linked to the newly created contact data. On the other hand, if a user sends a message to a plurality of recipients and some recipients are included in the contact information of the user, the processing component 17 can be configured to include the message with any recipients corresponding to the recipient. Each contact 10 data link. For example, A can have B, C, and D listed in his contact data, and A can send the same message to them three at the same time. The processing element 17 of this embodiment can be configured to associate the message sent by A with each of the contact data B, C&D, for example, such that A can find a copy of the message having the contact information listed for B. , with a copy of the contact information listed to C, and so on. 15 The mobile terminal 10 can also include a display 40, which is shown in Figure 1. The display can be a liquid crystal display (LCD), for example it can be a color display or a black and white display. The processing component 17 is responsive to a user input in the selection identifier and can be configured to display an image on the display that visually represents the selected identifier 20 relating documents. For example, by touching a key of a keyboard to scroll through the list of surnames of the stored contact information, the user operates the user into device 38 to find a particular contact profile. The last name found in this example and a "select," button is provided to provide two processing elements to display the selected contact information, including any identifier of the selected contact 22 200838270. For example, B Selecting the last name of A may refer to the name of A, his telephone number, and other information associated with the contact information item of A to the director 40. In addition, the processing element port may allow the user b Editing any displayed information and writing a message (A has been designated as the designated 5 recipient). In another embodiment, the mobile terminal 10 can include a display 40 and a processing component 17, which The processing component 17 is configured to drive the display • $ now includes — or a plurality of contact profiles and a visual map - an image, at least some of which are associated with a corresponding contact profile. Referring to Figure 3, for example, an image 50 of one of the various applications 52 can be displayed on the display 40 (shown in Figure 1) by pressing one on the keyboard of one of the mobile terminals 10 Button or with a keyboard 38 (for example In the interaction shown in Figure 1, a user may choose to use one of the applications. Referring back to Figure 3, one of the applications 52 may be a message 15 application 54, wherein The linked message and contact information can be organized and accessed. ® A user who selects the messaging application 54 can be presented with a screen similar to that shown in Figure 4. The top of the screen can include a title 56, the title 5 6 describes a folder or sub-folder that is accessed to facilitate navigation operations within the application. Below the header 56 are 20 one or more tags 58 through which other information can be accessed. In an exemplary embodiment There may be a label 58 for Discussions, Received Messages, Sent Messages, and 待utg〇ing Messages. Select the message application 54 Access to the first tag for discussion can be provided, as shown in Figure 4. Thus, in Figure 4, the title 23 200838270 5 «显 4# 4 discussion label, can be in the action Stored on the terminal ίο A summary of each of the contact information items 6。. If there are more than 6 items that can be displayed, then a text shelf 62 can be input from the user (for example, the first three of the last name of the item) The letter) finds 5 items to be searched for. The user can select an item through the previously discussed user input device to view more information associated with the selected item 64. Any contact information can be linked to other messages that cannot be linked and can be accessed under the general list of other contact information provided 60, for example, the name "Inbox" (Inb〇x) or General information on "Miscellaneous", (not shown). A second tag 58 of an exemplary embodiment can be used for the received message, as described in the title 56 shown in FIG. Under this tab, a list of individual contact information 60 from which the message was received can be displayed. For example, the received messages may be presented in the order in which they were received such that the most recent message is at the top of the list of columns. One of the type of message (e.g., text or voice) and/or the state of the message (e.g., read or unread) may also be provided in the form of a descriptive icon 66 next to each contact profile 60. display. For example, an unread _ text message may be indicated by an unopened envelope icon, or a picture message may be indicated by a camera icon. Similarly, a third tag 58 can indicate the respective contact profiles 60 to which the message is sent, as depicted in FIG. A fourth tag 58 (shown in Figure 7) can be used for the message to be sent and can display the contact profile 60 associated with any message that has been drafted but has not yet been sent. For example, a message being drafted or waiting to be sent may be accessed, manipulated, and modified from this tag. As another example, if the mobile terminal 24 200838270 terminal 10 is located outside the network, the messages can be maintained until they can be developed (ie, until the mobile terminal is again located in the network) "]) If there is no message waiting to be sent, the screen 67 can display the words "No message, as shown in Figure 7. 5 Looking back at Figure 4, the selection of a particular contact data 64 can show more information about the contact with the (4) 6G. For example, the selection of a particular contact profile 64 (e.g., personal 1) may display a screen as depicted in Figure 8. A disciple 70 (shown in Figure 8) under the discussion label can display a list of messages 72 that are 60% of the contact information. The displayed message 72 may include 10 messages sent to the selected contact material 64 and messages received from the selected contact poor material 64. One of the message types indication 74 (e.g., transmitted or received) may be included, for example, in the form of an arrow pointing to the right (for the message being sent) and pointing to the left (for the received message). In addition, the arrows can be of different colors to indicate the message being sent or received. Only 15 have a number of messages that can be displayed. For example, a ring that is sent or received during the last week or just the last twenty messages can be displayed. • The message 72 can be presented by displaying only a few words of the message or some other description of the valley within the message. For example, if the message is a text message, the first five words of the message can be displayed. The message longer than the matching overview 2 萤 screen can be indicated by another icon 76, which can be selected to display the entire contents of the message 72, which is displayed in FIG. In addition, a message can be written to the particular contact profile 64 via a text block 78 to, for example, facilitate the sending and receiving of instant text messages. The complete message is shown in Figure 9. 25 200838270 A second label 70 under discussion can display a screen shown in Figure 1. For example, a contact profile 6 can include one or more identifiers 68 that can be viewed under a second subtag 7 under the discussion tag 58 (shown in FIG. 4) as previously described. Display and access. 5 In other embodiments, a method for linking messages and contact information is known: for. Referring to Fig. 11, a plurality of contact materials and messages transmitted or received by a mobile terminal are accessed. At least some of the messages are then associated with the corresponding contact information. See blocks 100-102 of Figure 11. When a mobile terminal receives a new message, the contact information stored in a memory component of the mobile terminal 10 can be accessed. Each contact poor can include one or more identifiers as previously described. In this example, the most recently received message may also contain one or more identifiers, so if the message and a corresponding contact profile both include a common identifier, the message may be associated with the corresponding contact profile. For example, a message sent by the individual A may be associated with one of the contact information of the package 15 containing information related to the individual A. In addition, messages sent to more than one recipient may be associated with each contact profile including an identifier corresponding to any recipient. For example, a message sent by individual A to individuals B, C, C, and E can be linked to the contact information of individuals b, c, d, and E. If the individual A only has the contact information associated with the individual C&E, then the message can be linked to the contact information of the individual C and E. In addition, one or more identifiers of a contact profile can be stored, as shown in FIG. For example, a user may provide a first name and a phone number as the identifier of the individual F, and a memory component of a mobile terminal may store such identifiers for future access and/or association. While the storage of an identifier is shown to occur prior to the other steps described in Figure 11, one or more identifiers may be stored at any point and may be stored concurrently with the execution of other functions. A visual table of one or more of the identifiers of a contact profile or a combination of each of the 5 contact profile messages or one of the other may also be displayed. See block 106. For example, a particular contact profile can be selected by a user and an identifier belonging to the contact profile can be displayed, as previously described. Similarly, a message received from a particular contact material or a message sent to that particular contact profile can be displayed. In other embodiments, a method for displaying messages and contact information is provided. Referring to Fig. 12, a plurality of contact materials and messages that have been transmitted or received by a mobile terminal are accessed. Then one of the contact information and the message is displayed, and at least some of the displayed messages are associated with a pair of contact information. See Figure 12, blocks 100-102. 15 These contact information and associated messages can be displayed in a variety of ways and based on individual user input. For example, each contact profile may include one or more identifiers' and such identifiers for a particular contact profile may be displayed. See block 104. For example, a user may select a contact profile to refer to the respective identifiers of the contact profile. In addition, a selection of contact information may result in displaying a message received from the selected contact material or a message sent to the selected contact material. See block 1〇6. For example, a user selecting personal A's contact profile item may allow the user to view the message received from person a and the message sent to person A. In addition, the contact information from which a message was received during a predetermined period of time can also be displayed by 27 200838270, as indicated by Boxa. The predetermined period of time may be, for example, any message that is received during the pre-week period is displayed. However, this period can be defined by the number of «: turns that can be ageed. For example, the limit of the contact information of the (4) pen can be applied such that the predetermined period corresponds to the amount of time elapsed from the time when the earliest 2 〇 pen connection barney is displayed to the current time. Similarly, the message to which the message is sent can be _. See 110.
