Abstract

A powdery cosmetic composition having satisfactory applicability (or usability), cosmetic retentionability, adherence to skin, slippability and smoothness, comprising, as a powder component, the following components (a) and (b):(a) a branched alkyl silicone treated powder and (b) a composite silicone elastomer powder coated with at least one coating on the entire surface or a part of the surface thereof, selected from the group consisting of clay minerals, resins, metal oxides and salts, especially comprising 3-80% mass of the component (a) and 1-30% by mass of the component (b).
