Abstract

A method of automatically adjusting touch pad sensitivity and a touch pad module are disclosed. The method comprises: recording a first position of a stop point of a cursor, and detecting a touch track of the touch pad; after a first predetermined time, recording a second position of the cursor according to the touch track; when a position of the cursor returning to the first position within a second predetermined time, setting the position of the cursor in the second position, and increasing sensitivity of the touch pad. The present invention automatically adjusts the sensitivity of a sensing device, therefore, when the sensitivity of the touch pad has been influenced by such as humidity, the present invention could continuously adjust the sensitivity to reach a most appropriate level in a convenient and easy-to-use way, rather than adjusting the sensitivity through manual adjustment.
