Abstract

Disclosed is a balancing device for a high discharge lithium battery and a method thereof, which is provided for connection with a fully-charged lithium battery for preservation of the battery. The device comprises at least one resistor for connection with the lithium battery; a voltage detection chip connected to the resistor for detecting the voltage level of the battery to carry out the balancing of voltage. A voltage detection chip in the device is applied to detect and analyze the voltage level of the lithium battery and a resistor is applied to adjust the voltage balance to a proper voltage level for eliminating the battery memory effect and for long-term preservation of the battery.
