Abstract

This invention provides a cultured cell sheet package capable of transporting a cultured cell sheet without damaging and capable of permitting easy takeout of the cultured cell sheet. The cultured cell sheet package 2 of this invention comprises a tray 20 and a lid 10 arranged so as to provide a space for packing cultured cell sheet T in the form immersed in a liquid, in which cultured cell sheet package is furnished with a swing suppression means 21 which has a contour either substantially in agreement with the rim of the cultured cell sheet T or evaginating outward with a given distance from the rim and is arranged so as to bind cultured cell sheet accommodation region 24 onto the bottom surface of the tray 20, thereby suppressing the swing of the cultured cell sheet T, and is further furnished with a side manipulation space 22 which is formed outside the accommodation region 24 so as to permit manipulation of the cultured cell sheet T accommodated in the accommodation region 24 at least at the takeout of cultured cell sheet T.
