Abstract

This invention is one kind of method with capability of determining irregular heartbeat, and is applied to measure heartbeats and to judge whether there is a irregular heartbeat or not. Such method carries out the blood-pressure measurement on the subject during a specified period of time, and simultaneously records the measurement of heartbeat pulse waves. It also records the time difference between two pulse waves and the accumulated times of recording the pulse wave time. The calculation of the average time between pulse waves and the number of heartbeats is carried out according to the parameters obtained by the measurement mentioned above. Thereafter, according to the calculation result of the parameters mentioned above, it is determined in the first stage whether or not the simultaneously recorded number of the impulse wave during the whole blood-pressure measuring process is enough to satisfy the condition of determining irregular heartbeats. The second stage judgment is carried out when the condition of enough number is satisfied. The abnormal ratio is obtained by comparing each time difference between neighboring pulse waves with the average time between pulse waves. A symbol of irregular heartbeats is displayed when the abnormal ratio satisfies the preset judging requirement of irregular heartbeats, so as to solve the problems of high inaccuracy and universal property caused by judging from default standard value.
