Abstract

A mouse can automatically identify which hand of a user is operating itself. Buttons of the mouse generate a click event in response to a click operation. When having received the click event, a processor controls a sensing unit to generate sensing signals by sensing touch operation. The processor determines coordinates of each point in a left touch area and a right touch area based on the sensing signals; respectively selects a specific point from each touch area; compares the coordinates of the two points with each other; determines current operation mode to be left hand operation mode or right hand operation mode according to the comparing result; generates and sends a click signal corresponding to the click event to a computer according to the current operation mode. Thereby, the present invention can be automatically suitable for usage with the left hand and the right hand.
