Abstract

The air bag type support system for a seat of this invention includes an air valve assembly, at least one air pump, at least one support air bag set embedded in the seat and communicated to the air valve assembly, and at least one controller linked to the air valve assembly. Control commands of a controller are used to activate the air pump and air valve assembly to perform specific sequential operations, so as to cause the air bag set to switch between inflating and deflation. This invention adopts the features of providing an main air passage, a branch air passage, a support valve and a check valve in the air valve assembly to cause air to enter and remain in the support air bag set after passing through the main air passage and branch air passage due to action of the air pump, so as to expand the support air bag to provide support effects. Further, the inflation and deflation of the support air bag allows the support bag to perform massage effects.
