Abstract
Present invention is to provide a superconducting cable, which comprises a former and a conductor layer consisting of superconducting film wire winding on said former. Said superconducting film wire comprising a metal substrate and a RE-based superconducting thin film forming merely on one side of said substrate, and winding in the way that the side having RE-based film formed thereon is face outer side with respect to said former, and the side of superconducting film wire having small electrical resistance is disposed on the outer side of the cable, therefore, in the case of connecting component is mounted on the outer side of superconducting film wire to carry on connecting, the connecting electrical resistance of connecting part may be reduced, and the electrical resistance of connecting part can be reduced.
