Abstract

Disclosed is a multi-staged combined diaphragm/shutter device, comprising a base forming a first through hole, a diaphragm/shutter unit comprising two shutter plates, a diaphragm adjusting ring comprising a through hole, a driven toothed portion, and a camming surface, a first driving unit comprising a solenoid valve having a rotation portion, two second transmission portions mounted to the rotation portion, a diaphragm adjusting portion mounted to the rotation portion, and a second driving unit comprising a motor and a driving toothed portion engageable with the driven toothed portion. Each shutter plate has a first transmission portion slidably coupled to the second transmission portions respectively. When the shutter plates are moved to open the diaphragm, the diaphragm adjusting portion are kept in contact with the camming surface and when the shutter plates are moved to close the diaphragm, the diaphragm adjusting portion is spaced from the camming surface.
