Abstract

A display apparatus with electrostatic discharge protection is disclosed. The display apparatus comprises a metallic casing, a display panel, a conductive buffer layer and a housing, wherein the metallic casing has a sidewall to define a cavity. The display panel is disposed in said cavity. The conductive buffer layer is disposed on the sidewall and a partial surface of the display panel, wherein a conductive portion of the conductive buffer layer contact the sidewall and the partial surface. The housing envelop the metallic casing and the conductive buffer layer, wherein the housing has a window disposed above the display panel.
