Abstract

This invention provides a remaining nail detecting mechanism implemented in a nail gun. A grip portion of the body of the nail gun is provided with a trigger. An end of the nail impacting device of the nail gun body is provided with nail shooting portion. A side of the nail shooting portion communicates with a side of a nail cartridge. The nail cartridge is provided therein with a nail pushing seat. The best embodiment of this invention is characterized in that a movable position control member is assembled to a location accommodating the moving path of the nail pushing seat on the nail cartridge. The movable position control member includes a position control end and an actuated end. A resilient recovery member causes the movable position control member to normally recover towards a predetermined direction. The nail pushing seat is provided thereon with a driving portion. The driving portion is able to drive the actuated end of the movable position control member when the nail pushing seat is moved to a predetermined position so as to cause the position control member to move towards the predetermined direction. A trigger actuating member as provided has a first end extending to a predetermined part off a trigger, and a second end extending to a position corresponding to the position control end of the movable position control member. When the driving portion moves the movable position control member to displace, a state where the position control end would block the second end of the trigger actuating member is formed thereby preventing from activating the trigger, and achieving the effect of preventing the shoot-out of the remaining nails in the nail cartridge or preventing shooting when there is no nail remained in the nail cartridge, so as to provided the applicability and inventive step of protecting the mechanism and prolonging the lifespan.
