Abstract

This invention relates to an " improvement of cylinder structure for a pneumatic tool," including a cylinder of a tubular shape having a seamless thin wall, which can be a seamless steel tube in practice. The outer circumference and inner bore of the cylinder are concentric. The cylinder is provided at an outer edge along its axial direction with two air intake indents and plural air intake openings. Two end plates are each provided with an eccentric hole and two air guide groove. An end of the air guide groove is communicated with the end face to form a notch. By sequentially mounting the abrasion-resistant plates and the end plates to the opponent ends of the cylinder, and causing the air intake indents, notches of the abrasion-resistant steel plates and the notches of the air guide grooves to be at the same position, air is first flown into the air guide grooves from the air intake grooves towards the notches the abrasion-resistant steel plates, and then flown into the open slots to be introduced into the cylinder.
