Abstract

A bioreactor for producing biosurfactant and the applications are disclosed. The bioreactor comprises a first container, foam eliminator, and a second container. The first container contained a medium that has a plurality bacteria fixed on a solid carrier is used to conducted a fermentation process to produce the biosurfactant. The foam eliminator communicated with the first container and the second container is used to eliminate the foam generated by the fermentation and recycle the medium. The second container communicated with the foam eliminator contains an acid solution for precipitate the evaporated material directed from the foam eliminator.
