Abstract

This invention provides a high-octane number hydrocarbon fuel for automobiles. The fuel of this invention comprises 100 parts by weight of hydrocarbons (butane, pentane, hexane), 3 to 30 parts by weight of anhydrous methanol or anhydrous ethanol, 10 to 25 parts by weight of propane, 5 to 25 parts by weigh of toluene or the xylene, together with 0 to 10 parts by weight of flux (MTBE, TAME, TBA or isobutyl alcohol) and 0.004 to 0.04 parts by weight of fluorine carbon surfactant. The product of this invention is a fuel of high-octane number 95 ~ 97(RON), low production cost, causes no corrosion problems, good abrasion resistant clean and is a good substitutive fuel for automobiles. It is especially suitable for used for automobiles of liquid injection high compression ratio engine system. It gives much lower pollution for the exhaust and is a high efficient energy saving and environment friendly fuel source for automobiles.
