Abstract

The present invention provides a backlight module for lighting a liquid crystal display panel. The backlight module comprises a supporting frame, a plurality of light sources, a reflective sheet and a diffusion sheet. The reflective sheet is disposed between the bottom portion of the supporting frame and the light sources. The reflective sheet comprises a plurality of protruding portions, a plurality of planar plate portions, and a pattern. The pattern having different reflectivity characteristics is printed on or coated on the surfaces of the plurality of protruding portions and the surface of the plurality of planar plate portions. Therefore, the surface of the reflective sheet is improved by the pattern to adjust a suitable reflectivity so that it can eliminate the bright fringes and the dark fringes problem caused by the reflectivity of the surface and the shape of the reflective sheet in order to enhance the display quality of the liquid display panel.
