Abstract

A paper pressing apparatus includes a base having a processing portion on which a bunch of papers to be processed is set, and a support arm provided on the base. The base has a size capable of mounting a part of an edge portion of the bunch of papers when an end portion of the bunch of papers is set on the base, while the support arm supports the edge portion of the bunch of papers which projects from the base in a flat state when the end portion of the bunch of papers is set on the base.
