Abstract

A carry-on and rechargeable backup battery has a first input/output port, a second input port, a printed circuit board, battery cells, and a second output port. The first input/output port is used for connecting a computer to obtain power source there-from. The second input port is used for obtaining alternating power source. Thus the backup battery can be charged by various power sources. A battery protect circuit is disposed on the printed circuit board. The battery protect circuit connects the battery cells for protecting the battery cells form being over charged and over discharged. The second output is used for connecting a portable electronic device to supply power to the portable electronic device.
