Abstract
The present invention relates to a mold for die casting. The mold comprises a substrate, an adhesive layer formed on the surface of the core insert and an amorphous hydrogenated diamond-like carbon film includes a content of hydrogen in the range of 2% to 25% formed on the adhesive layer. The mold of the present invention has better mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
