Abstract

The present invention relates to a charger for high-frequency series connected load resonance battery. In the circuit design of the present invention, between a direct current power side and a loading side of the charger is disposed a series connected load resonance converter for producing high-frequency alternating sine wave; the input voltage of the series connected load resonance converter is constituted by a partial electrolytic capacitor and two series connected active components producing a square wave by high frequency switch. In addition, the resonance tank can be operated under continuous current mode by a set of properly set parameters and make the active switch conduct between the zero voltage and zero current statuses, enabling the series connected load resonance charger to be used under an optimal status. Meanwhile, the battery is charged by the fixed voltage so that the whole circuit can be highly efficient with low switch loss.
