Abstract

A motorcycle engine. The motorcycle engine includes a crank case, a cylinder, a cylinder head, a chain, a chain guide, and a motor oil guide plate. The crank case includes a motor oil pump, a crank, and a crank main bearing and accommodates motor oil. The crank fits in the crank main bearing. The cylinder is connected to the crank case. The cylinder head is connected to the cylinder and motor oil pump and includes a cam shaft. The chain is connected between the cam shaft and the crank. The chain guide is disposed under the chain and is adjacent thereto, extending from the cylinder head to the crank in the crank case. The motor oil guide plate is adjacent to the crank and chain and is connected between the chain guide and the crank main bearing. The motor oil in the cylinder head is guided into the crank main bearing via the motor oil guide plate, lubricating the crank main bearing.
