Abstract

A signal converting apparatus and a port automatically switching method is disclosed. The signal converting apparatus connectable to a display. A signal converting apparatus at least includes the receiving unit, a signal detecting unit, a switch controlling unit, a port switching unit, a signal converting unit, a transmitting unit and a power supplying unit. The receiving unit has a plurality of input ports for connecting each electronic device, when the signal detecting unit detects an input port status from no signal input to signal input. The port automatically switching method can automatically switch the input port, the signal converting apparatus accepting the input signal and converting into a standard format signal and transmits to the display. The present invention can substitute frequently automatically switch among a plurality of electronic device.
