Abstract

The present invention relates to a socket with positioning structure, which comprises a work head, a positioning rod, an elastic element, a handle and a pivotal shaft. The positioning rod has a tapering portion positioned in the positioning ring of the pivotal shaft, so as to enable the user to grip more stably. When the user rotate the socket by turning the socket wrench, the tapering portion of the positioning rod will offset slightly in reverse to the rotation of the socket and will pivot by pushing against the toothed edge of the positioning ring, so that the tapering portion of the positioning rod will disengage from the positioning ring, and the elastic element will recover instantly to push against the edge of the receiving groove of the work head, and the tapering portion of the positioning rod will be caused to push against the teeth of the positioning ring again. By such arrangements, the positioning rod will be turned to the positioning ring and positioned thereon, so as to enable the user to grip more stably.
