Abstract

To provide a folding chair with L-shaped frame structure adapted to be folded into a small size, comprising a pair of longitudinal frame members (10) extending upward and downward, a seat plate (50) supported at the middle section of the longitudinal frame members (10), and a pair of base frame members (30) having front end portion rotably connected to the lower end of the longitudinal frame member (10). The base frame member (30) may be selectively set between a developed position at which it is placed on the floor with a prescribed angle with respect to the longitudinal frame member (10) extending upward and downward, and a folded position at which it extends along the longitudinal frame member (10) at the position in front of the longitudinal frame member (10).
