Abstract

To enable to arrange a fuel tank to an appropriate position according to a shape of the fuel tank even if the shape of the fuel tank is complicated. This filter device 20 is connected to a fuel suction opening 18 of a fuel pump installed in the fuel tank 100 and removes foreign matter from fuel sucked in the fuel pump 12 from the fuel tank 100. The filter device 20 includes a suck shape filter and a frame provided in the filter and retaining the filter in a predetermined shape. And the filter device 20 is constructed to keep a condition folded at one section at least without apply of external force.
