Abstract
The present invention provides a resin lining steel pipe which can be used in place of a conventional resin lining steel pipe comprising a steel pipe with a fused metal plating on both surfaces thereof and a polyvinyl chloride lining on an inner surface of the plated steel pipe and which has an excellent adhesion between the steel pipe and the resin lining so that it can be used as pipes for water supply, boiled water supply, air conditioner, fire distinguishing, draining and the like for a longer time period than the conventional ones. The present invention also provides a production method thereof. A resin lining steel pipe characterized in that a chemical conversion layer comprising phosphate crystals with a grain size of 10μm or less is provided on at least an inner surface of a steel pipe, a resin layer comprising a polyolefin resin or cross-linked polyolefin resin is adhered on the inner surface of said pipe through an adhesive layer, and a thermal spraying layer comprising a metal which is poorer than iron is then provided on the outer surface of said pipe, as well as a production method thereof.
