Abstract

A thin film transistor array plate, a liquid crystal display panel, and a method of preventing electrostatic discharge thereof are provided. The thin film transistor array comprises a substrate, pixel structures, switch devices, lines, and ESD protecting circuits. The substrate has a display region and a peripheral circuit region. The pixel structures are disposed in the display region, and the switch devices are disposed in the peripheral circuit region. In addition, the lines are disposed on the substrate and electrically connected between the pixel structures and the switch devices. The ESD protecting circuits are disposed in the peripheral circuit region, and each ESD protecting circuit is electrically connected to one switch device correspondingly. The ESD protecting circuits provide prevention of electrostatic discharge, and help to simplify the circuit layout and improve the production efficiency.
