Abstract

A packing spacer is provided. It is used when a plurality of glass plates are arranged vertically. The packing spacer 1 has a base frame 2 and protruding frame 3. The protruding frame 3 is disposed on the outer peripheral region of the surface of the base frame 2. The surface of the outer peripheral edge part of the glass plate 6 is along the surface 2a of the inner peripheral region of the base frame 2, and the outer peripheral edge of the glass plate 6 is surrounded by the inner surface 3c of the protruding frame 3. The protruding size from the surface 2a of the inner peripheral region of the base frame 2 to the surface 3a of the protruding frame 3 is set larger than the wall thickness of the glass plate 6 and the back surface 2b is a flat face.
