Abstract

The present invention discloses an aggressive content revision authority transfer mechanism and method for concurrent operations on a single computer display, to be used in a concurrent operation system on a single computer display by a plurality of users which comprises a plurality of participant computers including one initializing computer that initialized the content revision authority transfer function of this invention, a network communication system to connect said plurality of participant computers; and a display content revision authority transfer mechanism to determine the belonging of display content revision authority among said plurality of participant computer at particular times and to transfer said authority; wherein steps to determine said belonging of display content revision authority comprises: determining that the content revision authority belongs to, among said plurality of participant computers, said initializing computer; accepting requests of content revision authority from said plurality of participant computer other than said initializing computer, after said initializing computer is idle; determining, if the participant computer to which said content revision authority belongs is idle; whether the idle lasts for a term greater than a threshold value; and if yes, selecting among participant computers that has requested said content revision authority participant computer that makes the first request and transferring said content revision authority to said selected participant computer.
