Abstract
The present invention provides an improved structure of electric tool with manual and automatic operation functions. The electric tool includes a main body having a power module and an power supply module installed therein and having an open end that forms a room; an elastic member disposed inside the room; an output shaft disposed inside the room and having a first end and a second end, in which the first end has a coupling slot for accommodating a tool, the second end is coupled to the power module, and the output shaft is equipped with brake teeth around its outer periphery at appropriate locations; a brake ring sleeved on the first end of the output shaft, formed with brake teeth and having a first end and a second end, in which the first end has several urging faces alternately arranged thereon and the second end is urged against the elastic member; a screw cap covering the open end of the main body and having several oblique push blocks with respect to the urging faces on the brake ring. During an automatic operation mode, the output shaft is driven by the power module; and when the screw cap is turned, its oblique push blocks will urge against the urging faces of the brake ring and push the brake ring back so that the brake teeth on the brake ring will engage with the brake teeth on the output shaft. As a result, the output shaft will be unable to rotate with respect to the main body, and the power tool can be used in a manual operation mode.
