Abstract

An eccentric chuck with weight balance function includes a clamping device reciprocatingly installed on the body of the chuck for clamping a workpiece; and at least a counter weight component. The invented eccentric chuck further includes a transmission mechanism for synchronously transmitting the counter weight component(s) for a displacement motion in the opposite direction when the clamping device is moving. As a result, the center of gravity of the chuck is still maintained on the rotation axis when a workpiece is clamp eccentrically on the chuck. This can avoid the occurrence of eccentric vibration when the chuck is rotating at a high speed.
