Abstract

To provide a clutch recovery device for a fishing reel, functioning to recover to a clutch-on mode by a motor, ensuring recovery action to be made. The clutch recovery device is such that a 1st clutch returning mechanism 11 is a recovery mechanism functioning to recover to a clutch-on mode by reversing the motor 4 for rotating a spool, and includes a press mechanism having at least a press member rotating interlockingly with the reversion of the motor and an interlocking mechanism. In this device, the interlocking mechanism works as follows: when a clutch mechanism is switched from a clutch-on mode to clutch-off mode by a clutch switching mechanism, the clutch mechanism moves from a 1st position to 2nd position, enabling a press by the press member at the 2nd position after moved, and when the motor is subjected to normal rotation, the press member can be contacted from a direction different from the moving direction of the interlocking mechanism, and in this state, when the motor is reversed, the press member moves to the 1st position impossible to contact by undergoing press by the press member along with putting the clutch mechanism to a clutch-on mode via the clutch switching mechanism. The motor is controlled by a reel control unit so as to undergo normal rotation prior to reversion in clutch recovery action, thereby the rotation phase of the press member is positioned in the clutch recovery action.
