Abstract

The present invention provides an LED backlight module including a back-bezel, a plurality of LEDs, a diffusion plate and a diffusion sheet. Said LEDs are set on the back-bezel. The diffusion plate is set above said LEDs and comprising a plurality of optical microstructures on its surface. And the diffusion sheet is set above the diffusion plate by a predetermined height. The light from said LEDs occurs total reflection on the surfaces of both diffusion plate and sheet, this causing the light mixing adequately in the LED backlight module. Then the light leaves the LED backlight module through the upper surface of the diffusion sheet. Within, said optical microstructures are needed for turning the light toward the diffusion sheet.
